When utilizing a 3.5mm plug cable, no additional software or external devices are required. Ideal for a variety of applications, including voiceovers, gaming, streaming, podcasting, audio recording, zoom meetings, Skype, YouTube, and chat.  Note that all-in-one PCs, iPads, and Mac laptops are incompatible.
